I was beginning to worry...I really was. I had purchased the Complete First Season of the Incredible Hulk on DVD a few months back and when I discovered that the second season was not forthcoming any time soon, I started to get worried. Now, my fears are over with as Season Two will be released on thr 17th of this month. (It is displaying an Amazon.com sales rank of 535 so it looks like seasons 3 and 4 will be forthcoming eventually) Of course, when I purchase the DVD I will have annotated and additional commentary on the series...a series that was an ABSOLUTE favorite of mine as a little kid and a great program to watch at 8pm on a Friday night.

This was a great series that provided wonderful and realistic values for little kids to absorb and it was done in the context of excellent writing. In fact, Season two featured some of the best episodes such as "Married," "A Child in Need" and that episode where I can't remember the name right now but it featured the forest fire and MaGee discovering that The Hulk has a human alter ego. (Yeah...that episode....and I saw when it first aired on prime time!)

BTW...Marvel Essentials is releasing a collected edition of the old Rampaging Hulk Magazine which was a more adult and character driven comic series that was closer in tone to the TV series. That gets released on the 20th. Stay tuned
