I have been contemplating purchasing a copy of that SPACE:1999 LP prviously mentioned on this blog and am trying to track down a decent price on them. I noticed that some dealers are charging upwards of $60 for a copy of the LP which is a ways out of my budget range. The LPS do pop up on EBAY at a fairer starting bid price, so I am going to monitor what they actually end up selling for. This may turn out to be one of those items that takes forever to find at a fair price....oh well.

I never owned a copy of the SPACE: 1999 Book and Record set despite the fact that I owned a ton of Book and Records. For some reason, that particular Power Records set was never offered for sale in the local "Kiddie City" store that was near my home. Oh well....I guess sometimes chance plays a huge part in things at times. I do want to dig up a copy of that book and record set mainly because I am curious what the artwork looked like. I don't like SPACE: 1999 had an official monthly comic book series so this may end up having been an original production as opposed to a re-print like many of the other Power Records Book and Records sets.
