I am preparing three lengthy entries as soon as I finish reviewing some material. I am half way through the second season of THE INCREDIBLE HULK and, lo and behold, I have discovered my old VHS tape of all five (count them five!) "monster" episodes of IN SEARCH OF....inlcuding the legendary MONSTER HUNTERS episode featuring the "Bay Area Bigfoot" group. This is one of the more notorious episodes of the series that is ridiculous even by 1978 monster mayhem standards.  The tape also features episodes on Bigfoot and The Lock Ness Monster and a little known Swamp Creature that has long since been forgotten about.

Speaking of standards from a different era,  it doesn't stop there friends: I have unearthed my old 2 hr Something Weird Video VHS of CLASSIC CIGARETTE COMMERCIALS. Yes, there was a time when cigarettes were advertised on TV and those commercials are somewhat strange to look at 40 years later. In a way, the ads are quite chilling knowing what we know now about the era and the dangers that cigarette commercials pose. Then again, people didn't know at the time how dangerous they were. This is what makes reviewing these old commercials somewhat interesting. Hey, somebody has to do it. Why not me?
