I rcently watched the first volume of the DVD of this series and I have to say that even though two decades have passed is snce this landmark Canadian teen series debited on Canadian television, it has lost NONE of its power or impact over time. I have two more DVDs of the series arriving in the mail tomorrow courtesy of netflix, I will surely have a lot to say about this series as it is one of the most realistic series ver made on the subjetc of teen problems and angst. No, this is not a humrous program as it is loaded with grim and realistic subject matter. What it is, however, is compelling viewng material that any one who enjoys quality television should watch.
