The year is 1980 and there are weekly horror movie festivals on UHF to celebrate Halloween. What happened to the good old days? well, they have been replaced by month long festivals on cable TV. More power to them!
I think AMC needs to be singled out here because this cable channel runs all the awesome horror classics of the 190-s through the 1990's (although I could do without the Halloween sequels). The Sci-Fi Channel, on the other hand...deserves a hiss and a boo for running those ROTTEN made for DVD monster crapfests NO ONE likes. Then again, the SciFi Channel used to air the same movies AMC aired, but apparently lost the rights. What a shame.
