I skimmed the net to find a list of Halloween Specials that had aired on television and, yes, I did find some nice references, but I really have to take TV Guide to task for this thoroughly lame list of Halloween Specials (http://www.tvguide.com/Special/Halloween06/TVTreats.aspx) Now, there is nothing wrong with any of the television specials that are listed on that list, but the list is WAY TOO brief. I mean, folks, five specials? Come on. That skips a number of tremendous Halloween specials that had been produced over the years some of which (such as the Grinch's seldom seen 1977 special) are very under appreciated.  Oh well, I guess I have to be the one to carry the torch of promoting forgotten television. Hmmm...That isn't really all that bad of a job. (By the way, if you are digging this October's Halloween theme you may get a kick out of something new I have planned in the future that I will let you in on later)
