Yes, as anyone who reads this blog knows THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN was one of my all time favorite television program. In addition to being a great program, the series also spawned a tremendous amount of wonderful tie in merchandise including boardgames, lunch boxes, and - of course - toys. One of the more 'interesting" toys was the Oscar Goldman doll. ok, maybe this interesting is not the right word. I, mean, Oscar was a cool character, but he was just a guy. He wasn't bionic, he wasn't a super bad guy. He was a regular guy and a government bureaucrat to boot! But he still had his own doll and, yes, that doll actually had its own commercial! Not sure how well of a seller this doll was ("Mom, I want the Oscar Goldman doll! The one with the suit and tie!") Ok, he does have an exploding briefcase and that is knida cool. While this doll may have passed off into obscurity, you tube has preserved it by reproducing this very grainy Oscar Goldman commercial from the Me Generation. Enjoy.
