I guess I am in a 1970's kids commercial mood and our good friends at YouTube have provided this rare late 1970's commercial for Stretch Armstrong's adversary the green and devilish Stretch Monster. (What and original name!) I actually had the Stretch Monster as well as a Stretch Armstrong doll circa 1978 . It wasn't until many years later I discovered there were two other rare villains such as Stretch X-Ray and the Stretch Octopus. (And, boy, do they cost a fortune on Ebay) So, for you Generation-X fans, here is the rare Stretch Monster television commercial that originally debuted in - I believe - 1977. "I'll get you next time shorty!"
