Since I had mentioned this failed sitcom in the prior post I thought I would take a few minutes out and give it a little mention. STRUCK BY LIGHTENING was a US/UK co-produced sitcom that aired for one season in 1979 and dealt with a family moving into Castle Frankenstein only to discover the monster still lives there. Oh, if you think the monster looks like Herman Munster think again - he looked like an old man with gray hair and dark circles under his eye. Ummm. Yeah, I know...he ain't exactly the Frankenstein Monster of days past and his constant whining about being stereotyped in movies got old quick. This was a bad and unfunny series that died after only a few episodes. To my knowledge, it has never aired or been rerun since its first network run 28 years ago and it yet another member of lost and forgotten television history.
