I know this doesn't count as classic television because it only happened this week, but there was another presidential debate on tv or, more accurately, a debate for the nomination for the presidency on the democratic ticker. Yes, another debate...Anyone remember back when there was maybe one or two debates and those debates centered mainly on substance? It is somewhat troubling and annoying that these debates are being promoted primarily for the purpose of drawing ratings (and ad revenue) than they are for actual providing the public with a clear idea of where candidates stand on the issue. There have been so many Democrat and Republican debates this year I have outright lost count of the number of them. And, honestly, I can't think of much substance coming out of any of them.
