Here is another classic commercial from "the days gone by..." Why did I put days gone by in quotes? because they have rereleased this particular item back in stores and you can purchase it at Toys R Us. Yup. What is old is new again even the thoroughly goofy and creepy. I had a Creepy Crawlers play set in the early 1980's and it was one of the strangest items for sale and, surprisingly, it has endured on the toy market on and off for several DECADES. Yet, much like Shrinking Heads sets, the sheer weirdness of it will generally keep it from getting much mention when the subject of all time classic toys comes up.
