Ouch. If you really want to see Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea really sink to its lowest depths (no pun intended) then you really need to check out the rather AWFUL episode No Escape from Death which is a thoroughly abominable rip-off of Season Two’s Jonah and the Whale. In fact, this episode even features stock footage from that classic episode! 
Even more bizarre is that the episode starts off as a remake of Season One’s absolutely brilliant episode Submarine Sunk Here and even recycles a bunch of stock footage from that particular episode. Then, for some inexplicable reason the episode shifts into a remake of Jonah and the Whale substituting a giant jellyfish for a giant whale
This is a real hodgepodge mess of an episode that is one of the reasons this TV series is considered a joke by TV historians despite the fact that it started out on a path to being one of television’s all time classic series.
