Ok, this is not an actual television program. It is a direct to DVD movie based on the classic DEATH OF SUPERMAN storyline from 1993 in DC Comics. But, considering that it is meant for home viewing I will add it as a "television entry." For what it is worth, this is a decent movie albeit somewhat overly violent for a Superman cartoon. (Lots of people get killed in this one!) It is not really a bad film, but it is a VERY weak adaptation of what was one of the all time great comic story arcs of all time and Superman's death in the film is significantly less dramatic than the way it was treated in the comics. They should have followed the actual stories in the book and released them in various disk releases. Oh well.
