Speaking of New Coke, I was able to track down the very first New Coke commercial very produced which debuted back in 1985. For those who are unfamiliar with why Coke would change the taste of their product it was because they felt a sweeter taste would allow Coke to be more competitive with their competitors at Pepsi. Uh, it was a bad idea and a huge blow to Coke as consumers rejected the ridiculous idea and lobbied to get the original Coke formula back.
