Call me a really weird person, but after writing the entry on the Giligan's Island song I just remembered that there was a series of local promos for the series that used to air on local UHF. basically, these were clips from more popular episodes of the series that were mixed with the local announcer's incredibly monotone voice. They also had these for VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF TH SEA, THE THREE STOOGES and a number of other programs. (The VOYAGE one was cool because is borrowed a cool clip from the episode the DEADLY AMPHIBIANS) These promos were generally REALLY dull and flat but somehow they managed to draw you in to watch the show. Then again, there were only five channels in those days.....so......
