TV Land is having a "Merry-thon" today which will offer 24 hours of classic Christmas specials and episodes of a ton of old television programs. (surely they will have the classic Sanford and Son Christmas Carol parody) During Halloween I spent the whole month covering a retrospect of the old Halloween specials mainly because they are basically forgotten. Luckily, the classic Christmas specials get much better treatment and are provided with much more exposure. And, I do have to tip my hat to TV Land for never faltering and remaining a solid classic television network unlike other cable channels that shall go nameless that deviated from their original plans. If you dig Christmas specials then you will want to check out this TV Land over the next 24 hours.
