I have been looking for footage of Harry Truman on television or, specifically, Truman's first appearance on television as he was the first President to ever make a live address on the TV. (I am pretty sure of this. Television had been around since the 1930's but no one owned one, but it is not out of the question that FDR made an appearance or two but not in a live address) Anyway, I can't find the footage that I am looking for but here is a little Harry Truman footage that covers his first electoral victory. it was not to be, however, as the Korean War would later erode much of his popularity. javascript:void(0) HTML
