She was probably one of the biggest stars on TV in the 1960's and 1970's but few remember her today because she was a star of a pseudo-sport that no longer exists. But, when she passed away a few years ago several sports publications did acknowledge her tremendous achievements. Anne Calvello was a major superstar in the world of Roller Derby but there is precious little footage of her available as much of the videotape of her events were presumed either lost or destroyed. Thankfully, some Super 8 footage is turning up including this footage that appears to have been filmed off a TV broadcast from the 1960's/
