Ok, I mentioned the 1975 Planet of the Apes cartoon so I guess I am obligated to deliver a decent clip. Well, here it is! The program was called RETURN TO THE PLANET OF THE APES and the opening credits were super cool. Actually, they were kind of haunting and creepy. Then again, haunting and creepy is super cool. I don't think these episodes have aired on TV in years but 16mm prints have circulated in collectors circuits. Thanks to the net we can now enjoy them. What a shame this series only lasted a mere 13 episodes. Sometimes you really did get cheated with Saturday Morning Cartoons in terms of the few original episodes and tons of reruns. Anyway, this was an excellent cartoon series. Maybe one day we will get a new one.
