wow. Now there is a REALLY cool theme song. Not. But....the Mego toys that are being presented in this commercial are definitely really cool. These are the lesser known 12 inch mego superhero toys and this is a classic 1977 commercial for them. Yup, just like yesterday I am in a Mego mood. And why not? Mego was absolutely  awesome when it comes to the realm of  toys.

Do they make such toys like this these days? Yes! The Mego influence still resonates to this very day and that is why you see a return to the traditional cloth "fashion" that a number of toys sport these days.
