Here is another cool Star Trek toy from back in the 1970's. Now, who wouldn't want one of their own Star Trek Phasers? These old school phasers made annoying whirring sounds but they were still kind of cool and were tremendous sellers back in the day. One of the things I liked most about this commercial is that it featured "Dad" prominently which is something that is missing from today's commercials. Personally, I still think cowboy six shooters are cooler but this is a close second.
