In the 1970's, Len Wein and Bernie Wrightstein created a very memorable horror series for DC Comics. In the 1980's, Alan Moore's work on the Swamp Thing series really resurrected the character. But, most people remember Swamp Thing for the Wes Craven film that was decidedly average. (The eventual sequel was AWFUL!) Then, along came the syndicated SWAMP THING TV series that most people don't remember but it lasted a few seasons and it really was not all that bad. In fact, it was a pretty decent series. Thanks to the ever expanding demand for television series on DVD we now have the Swamp Thing Series on DVD. Obviously, you can pick it up on Amazon.
