When I was a little kid I used to watch the reruns of the old animated series The Archie Show. It wasn't a bad show but it really lacked that special something that made other animated series quality programs. Maybe it was because it simply wasn't an original format. The series has been released on DVD so fans of it can get a copy of the complete run of the series if they so wish.

But what happened to the lost live action Archie Special that aired once in prime time. Sorry, I can't give you a lot of information on this one. Actually, I am looking for information on this one as I can't anything on it. It either aired in the late 1970's or early 1980's. It was a one time special and it was pretty average. But it is an odd curio item that was sort of just thrown out there. Anyone know anything about this series?
